Start the connection
Open Shopify in Settings → Integrations and follow the current custom-app setup instructions.
Configure the destination

Verify the connection
Confirm Citera validates the store. Review a draft and its destination before enabling publishing; check any authorized product change in Shopify.

What are the limitations?
No evidence here establishes checkout, orders, customer records, theme/layout editing, or support for every product field. Disconnecting does not remove written content; revoke the app in Shopify to remove its access.
Which permissions and approvals are required?
Store access to create/install a custom app. Use the Admin API scopes displayed in Citera’s current setup screen; the exact scope list is not verified here. Legacy token connections and new app credentials have different setup paths. Use draft-only or approval-required settings for review. Enable autonomous publishing only for the destinations and content types you intend to authorize.
