Capabilities and access
Documentation reviewed on 22 October 2026. This is a documentation check, not a test in your connected account. Capabilities, required permissions and plan availability can evolve. Confirm details marked unverified before relying on them.
Current support
Live · CMS connection
Read access and data
CMS destination/collection access; exact readable content fields require confirmation.
Drafting, publishing and updates
CMS blog delivery, including scheduled content under configured rules. Existing-page updates and immediate deployment: confirm separately.
Permissions and prerequisites
Framer project URL and API key; an existing blog CMS collection. Exact key permissions and Framer plan prerequisites: confirm in setup.
Plan availability
CMS publishing entitlement: confirm. Supported website fixes: Scale / Custom.
Limitations
CMS publishing does not establish unrestricted canvas, design or site-setting access. Use draft-only or approval-required settings for review. Enable autonomous publishing only for the destinations and content types you intend to authorize.
How it works
Start the connection
Enter your project URL and API key in Settings → Integrations → Framer.
Configure the destination
Select the blog collection and URL pattern, such as /blog/[slug].
Verify the connection
Confirm the CMS destination loads and inspect a draft. Check the published URL after site publication; the previous build can remain live until then.
Confirm current support
Capabilities, permissions and plan availability can evolve. Check your current integration screen and the documented limitations above before enabling automation.
Put your Framer content workflow in motion
Based on linked setup documentation, reviewed October 21, 2026. The artwork is illustrative; this page does not present a hands-on project test.
Confirm the content target
The documented setup uses the project URL, API key, an existing blog collection and an article URL pattern. It also notes that the previous build remains served until you publish. Read the Framer connection guide.
Before scaling, check the destination fields, review responsibility and published template. This documentation does not establish unrestricted root-file, layout or every-settings access.
Keep native SEO and execution in the same plan
Start with the controls already available in your project. Add a repeatable process for useful articles, factual review, internal links and a checked public result. Scope technical development, relevant outreach and first-party analytics separately instead of assuming a CMS connection covers them.
Select an appropriate operating mode using the approval controls documentation. A prepared draft is not evidence of a published page, indexing or an increase in sales.
Choose your next job
Use the buyer guides to choose a tool for an actual constraint. Use the implementation guide and checklist when the priority is improving your existing site. Avoid producing near-identical pages simply to target another acronym.
