A client report with your own point of view

Use Citera’s MCP server to bring approved visibility data into your AI tool, then turn it into a client-ready narrative. Add your agency’s voice, explain the results, and lay out the next steps in your own report template.

1. Connect the right client brand

Open Citera Settings → API & MCP → MCP and select Connect another assistant. Add https://mcp.citeralabs.ai/mcp in your AI client, complete browser sign-in and select only the brands you want it to read. API and MCP access are open to all Citera accounts. If your client needs a fixed credential, use the optional manual MCP-key route in the same dialog.

2. Define the report

Choose the brand, reporting period, comparison period, and audience. Tell the assistant which sections to include and give it your preferred voice or existing template. Include only client information you are authorized to share with the AI tool.

Example prompt

Create a client-ready AI visibility report for my selected brand and reporting period. Include an executive summary, visibility and competitor changes supported by the available data, cited sources, and recommended next actions. Use our agency voice and leave clearly labeled spaces for our logo and client name. Flag missing data. Do not modify content, publish, or send the report.

3. Add your branding and review

Move the reviewed narrative and data into your own document or presentation template. Add your logo, client name, and any approved charts. Branded document generation, file export, and delivery depend on the AI tool or other software you choose; this example does not imply that MCP itself creates a finished PDF or sends it to your client.

Check the story against the data

Verify every metric, date range, and comparison before sharing. Separate visibility gains from business outcomes, and explain gaps in coverage. Avoid claiming causation or guaranteed growth from a movement in a single metric.

Permissions and limits

This can be a read-only workflow using visibility, competitors, sources, and any other approved read scopes you need. Never put a raw API key in a report. White labeling here refers to your own report template; it does not change Citera’s application branding, grant cross-client access, or add automatic delivery.
