Summary

Citera, then operating as Rankad.ai, was accepted into NVIDIA Inception in February 2026. The programme supports AI startups with technical resources, training, developer tools and access to NVIDIA’s wider ecosystem, with specific benefits depending on eligibility and programme participation. For Citera, it provides another resource as we develop software that connects market understanding, content, website improvements and publishing, with a focus on making AI useful across a complete business workflow.

What is NVIDIA Inception?

NVIDIA Inception is a free programme for startups building with AI and related technologies. Rather than operating as a single fixed-term cohort, it provides resources that companies can use at different stages of developing a product, from exploring an approach to bringing it into production.

The programme describes benefits across technical learning, developer tools, selected hardware and software offers, and opportunities to connect with the wider startup and investor ecosystem. The specific resources a company can access depend on the relevant eligibility requirements, and participation does not mean every offer is automatically granted or already in use.

Our application was approved on 14 February 2026 under the Rankad.ai name. We now develop the platform under the Citera brand, and this article refers to that same company’s participation in NVIDIA Inception.

Why the programme is relevant to Citera

Citera is being built around a practical objective: helping businesses move from understanding an organic growth opportunity to carrying out the work needed to address it. That involves more than producing text, because a useful system also needs to understand the business, work with relevant information, choose an appropriate action and fit into existing publishing and measurement processes.

We want to reduce the manual coordination between these stages while preserving the judgment and control that matter. A business should be able to automate useful work without losing track of what is being changed or having to review the same basic mistakes repeatedly.

NVIDIA Inception is relevant because it provides access to technical learning and an ecosystem focused on building AI products. For us, the opportunity is to use those resources to make better engineering decisions, not simply to add another technology name to our product description.

The engineering questions behind useful AI automation

An AI workflow can appear successful when judged only by the fluency of its final answer. In an operating product, however, we also need to consider whether the system used the right information, respected the task’s boundaries and produced something appropriate for the business.

Consider an article about a customer’s service. A polished draft is not useful if it invents a feature, describes an outdated price or promises an outcome the business cannot support. Likewise, a correct draft is not a complete workflow if it is sent to the wrong publishing destination or cannot be traced back to the work that produced it.

Our development priorities therefore extend beyond generation itself. We want to improve how information is selected, how outputs are checked and how the surrounding application coordinates the work, so that the customer receives something more dependable than a series of disconnected AI responses.

Resources and capabilities that matter to our work

Technical training and practical guidance

NVIDIA Inception includes access to technical training and developer resources, with opportunities to learn about tools and approaches used in AI development. For a team building an AI-native product, the useful outcome is a better understanding of the trade-offs involved in choosing and operating an approach.

We want that learning to inform practical questions: what needs a model, what can be handled by ordinary application logic, which tasks deserve more extensive checking and where additional complexity would create more maintenance than value. The right answer is not necessarily the most complicated system.

Understanding model deployment and inference

NVIDIA’s developer ecosystem includes NIM, a set of services and tools for deploying AI models with standardised interfaces on supported infrastructure. Inference is the stage at which a deployed model processes an input and produces an output, so decisions about inference affect how an AI-powered workflow behaves in practice.

For Citera, this is relevant as an area to evaluate rather than a claim that every feature currently runs on NVIDIA NIM or dedicated NVIDIA infrastructure. Different workloads can justify different approaches, and a platform should be selected based on measured needs rather than programme membership alone.

The questions we would use to judge an approach include output quality, response time, operating cost, maintenance requirements and how well it fits the data and controls around the task. A faster model is not automatically a better choice if its output requires substantially more correction.

Building a repeatable evaluation process

Our aim is to evaluate AI capabilities using examples that reflect the actual work customers need completed. For a content workflow, that could mean checking whether a draft accurately represents the business, answers the intended question and avoids unsupported claims, rather than judging it only on style.

A useful evaluation set would also include less straightforward situations, such as incomplete source material, conflicting information or a task that should be paused for review. These examples help define what good behaviour looks like when the system cannot safely treat every input as complete and correct.

That is the kind of engineering discipline we want to strengthen as Citera develops. Access to an AI-focused ecosystem is valuable when it helps a team improve how it makes and tests those decisions.

An illustrative workflow: improving a service page

Imagine a company whose service page lists features but does not explain how its offering applies to a particular customer need. A useful workflow would first identify the missing explanation and check whether the underlying service actually supports the use case.

It could then prepare an update grounded in the company’s own information, distinguish factual claims from suggested wording and route the result through the appropriate review or publishing process. Afterwards, the business should be able to see what changed and assess whether the page is becoming more useful.

In that example, generation is only one part of the task. Selecting relevant information, preserving factual accuracy and maintaining a clear record of the action all contribute to the result. Our interest in AI development resources is tied to improving that whole process.

Connecting with the wider startup ecosystem

NVIDIA Inception also includes opportunities for eligible startups to become visible to investors through Inception Capital Connect. In March 2026, our request to access that platform was approved, providing a time-limited opportunity to share our company information within NVIDIA’s venture-capital ecosystem.

That approval was separate from the original programme acceptance and should not be interpreted as an investment from NVIDIA or a guarantee of investor introductions. It illustrates how the programme can provide resources beyond technical tools, while leaving the actual commercial outcome dependent on the companies involved.

For us, access to a broader community is useful when it creates opportunities to learn from others building demanding AI products. The value lies in the conversations and decisions that follow, rather than the existence of a programme affiliation on its own.

What this means for customers

The benefit we want customers to experience is a product that becomes more capable without becoming harder to supervise. That means more useful analysis, better handling of business-specific information and clearer execution of the work customers have authorised.

NVIDIA Inception supports our development environment and access to resources; it is not a separate feature inside a customer’s account. It also does not, by itself, prove a performance increase, certify every part of our platform or guarantee an organic growth result.

Our responsibility is to turn the learning and opportunities available to us into practical improvements. We want those improvements to be visible in the work Citera delivers, rather than asking customers to judge the platform by the programmes we participate in.

Frequently asked questions

When did Citera join NVIDIA Inception?

Our application was approved on 14 February 2026, when the company was operating under the Rankad.ai name. The Citera name reflects our later rebrand.

Does NVIDIA Inception membership mean NVIDIA invested in Citera?

No. This announcement concerns participation in a startup programme. Programme acceptance and access to an investor network are different from receiving an investment.

Does the programme mean all Citera features run on NVIDIA technology?

No. Membership provides access to resources and opportunities, but the technology used for each feature depends on our actual engineering decisions. We do not present programme eligibility as evidence of a particular production deployment.

Building AI that earns its place in the workflow

We are pleased to be part of NVIDIA Inception and to have access to an ecosystem focused on helping AI startups develop their products. Our goal at Citera remains specific: to make organic growth work easier to carry out consistently, with useful context, appropriate controls and a clear connection to the business’s objectives.

Explore Citera to see how we connect market analysis, content, website improvements and publishing in one platform, and how that work can become part of an ongoing growth process.
